Why Bother?
Virtually every recruitment process needs you to put something in writing, either as a CV or an application form. Even online applications are based around you giving an account of your career, education and skills, tailored to your suitability for a role.
Getting your CV right (or more accurately your CVs) is tough. There are different formats, different styles, different professional conventions, different practices around the world and not everyone even uses CVs. It becomes very confusing.
